Atlantis Radiology & Imaging Services

Radiology & Imaging Services

At Atlantis Healthcity, we use imaging not just as a tool, but as a bridge, one that connects symptoms to diagnosis, and questions to clarity. Whether you’re here for a routine X-ray or a more advanced scan, we aim to make the process easy to understand and even easier to get through.

We know that most people walking into our department are a little unsure. Some are in pain. Some are waiting for answers. And for many, it’s their first time getting a scan done. So we don’t rush. We explain things the way we’d want them explained to us, clearly, calmly, and without too much technical talk.

Services We Provide 1. Digital X-Ray

For quick, clear imaging of bones, joints, and chest

X-rays are one of the most common tests in medicine and also one of the fastest. At our facility, digital technology allows for low-radiation imaging with results that are ready sooner.

You might need an X-ray for:

  • A suspected fracture or joint injury
  • Chest pain, cough, or breathing difficulty
  • Follow-up on an old injury or surgery

Most scans take just a few minutes. If you’re coming in with a doctor’s referral, we’ll make sure the images reach them directly.

2. 2D and 4D Ultrasound

Safe, sound-based imaging, no radiation involved

Ultrasound scans use harmless sound waves to show what’s happening inside, especially in soft areas like your abdomen, pelvis, or during pregnancy. Often used in a wide range of abdominal, pelvic, and thyroid-related conditions.

2D scans show internal structures clearly, while 4D scans provide live movement, especially helpful in pregnancy to view your baby’s actions and development.

This test is often used for:

  • Pregnancy scans (routine or detailed)
  • Abdominal pain or swelling
  • Pelvic scans for women’s health

You’ll lie down comfortably during the scan, and a trained technician will walk you through what’s being done.

3. Multislice 3D CT Scan

When your doctor needs more than just a snapshot

CT (Computed Tomography) scans combine X-rays with advanced computing to give detailed cross-section images of the body. Our multislice 3D CT scanner captures multiple layers at once, giving doctors a fuller view, in less time.

It’s commonly used for:

  • Head injuries or unexplained headaches
  • Suspected stroke or bleeding in the brain
  • Chest pain, abdominal problems, or spinal issues
  • Planning for surgeries or cancer treatment

4. Colour Doppler

A Doppler scan shows how blood flows through your blood vessels. It’s commonly done during pregnancy, in heart-related cases, or when there’s discomfort or swelling in the legs that could be linked to poor blood flow.

It may be recommended for

  • Varicose veins or suspected blood clots
  • Heart valve issues
  • Monitoring blood flow to a growing baby

Doppler scans don’t involve needles or radiation. You’ll hear a few sounds during the test, that’s the flow being mapped.

What to Expect

  • You’ll be greeted by our imaging team, who’ll walk you through what’s going to happen.
  • If any prep is needed (like fasting or drinking water), we’ll guide you clearly.
  • Most scans are painless and take under 30 minutes.
  • Reports are reviewed by our radiologist and shared with your doctor quickly, often on the same day.

Our Way of Working

We don’t treat radiology like a background service. For us, it’s a vital part of diagnosis and healing. We give it time. We make it comfortable. And we never forget that there’s a person behind every image.

Why Patients Prefer Our Imaging Centre

  • Skilled technicians who talk to you like people, not just patients
  • New-age machines that reduce scan time and improve clarity
  • Direct coordination with your consulting doctor
  • Quiet, low-stress environment
  • Fast report delivery for emergency cases

When a Picture Can Change Everything

A scan might seem like a small step, but it often gives doctors the insight they need to act fast, or plan better. At Atlantis Healthcity, we make sure that step is done right.
